Logo and Stationery

I was approached and hired to create a logo for Session Studio, located in Portland, Oregon. My goal with the logo was to create an empowering mark for those getting their hair cut or styled at Session. The owner, Caprice, expressed to me several times that the most important thing is for her clients to feel confident and emboldened when leaving after a session. Using typography reminiscent of art nouveau type, but altered and chopped up to take on a modern form. Thus undergoing a transformation like the patrons.
